The Just Slate Co natural slate gifts are handmade by local craftsmen in Fife, Scotland. Originally started by mother and son duo Louise & Donny Carstairs, the rest of the family have joined the business over the years to help it grow further. Sister Emma is from a graphics background and now heads up the Product Design team and brother Colin heads up Production. Dad Ian looks after international sourcing and shipping. Although best known for hand-cut slate serving boards, the team work hard to refresh the collections each season to bring a variety of complimentary accessories including cheese knives, serving accessories and barware from artisan factories around the world.
