Sidérale - Linen Tablecloth embroidery
Seller: Alexandre Turpault
Embroidered “Soleil Baroque” (Baroque Sun) motifs harmoniously distributed around the middle of the table taken up in frieze on the sides at the bottom of the tablecloth. Precious embroidery with an openwork heart, created in 2 tones (matt khaki and antique gold) in cross-stitch for the rays at the end, embroidered with matt gold thread. Half-way between flower and star, both vegetal and astral, the design unfolds on a pure linen “umber” background, a warm taupe that reminds us of our earthly roots. A neutral palette, beautifully staged in a chiaroscuro just lit with candles or a wood fire.
