The chair is made in the colour antique, which is cozy, simple and suitable for every occasion. The Rossini chair is made of natural materials and therefore provides a warm and cozy atmosphere in the home. The seat and back are handwoven on a frame of rattan by skilled wicker workers. Rossini rattanchair has armrests and can be stacked. The Rossini chair has been in the Sika-Designs collection for more than 20 years and has become an classic rattanchair. Rossini is a combination of Danish design in collaboration with the Japanese designer Yamakawa. A cushion can be purchased for the Rossini chair in any optional fabric, sewn in our Danish sewing department. About us
Our passion for and understanding of rattan dates back decades. We have been around long enough to call ourselves Scandinavia’s oldest producer of rattan and wicker furniture.
The story of our company begins in 1942, when Ankjær Andreasen produced the first batch of baskets, lamps, flower tables and other smaller interior items made of rush and willow.
In the 1950´s, Ankjær expanded his production to include a series of furniture made from rattan, and the company Sika-Design was firmly established.
Our style is understated luxury and we focus on comfort, the best material and the good and proud craftsmanship. In our collection you find iconic furniture design by great architects as Arne Jacobsen, Nanna Ditzel, R. Wengler, Viggo Boesen and Franco Albini.
