Home Transformation
Many people’s homes will emerge from the pandemic transformed. Wether it's a move to the country, as we realize we need more space, more green & that working from distance is now the new norm. Or a transformation/decoration of the interior, our home is in the spotlight. Covid -19 is changing the way we live and the way we want to live.
And so the transformation for some homes has begun in ways that uplift our spirits.
As we spend more time at home, perhaps spending less on commuting, travel, entertainment, we can re-invest into our home. Whatever the budget, there are small changes we can make - a beautiful scented candle, a new throw for the sofa, or creating space for a home office.
Some will say that it is no longer possible to live as before and will want to keep the changes, maybe by consuming more locally, by traveling less far, and by making home their haven. Lockdown for some, may be experienced as a period of rest, where we will stop running, and embrace this new way of living. The things we thought to be important will loose their relevance as we enjoy slowing down, simplifying and directing energy into creating our haven. We will come out of confinement a little better, because we will have nurtured our habitat a little more.

The story behind this beautiful French fragrance and candle house, began in 1961 in St Germain des près as a beautiful ‘bazaar’ for treasured objects & fabrics that then began production on their now- iconic candles 2 years later. Diptyque became synonymous with style and are scenting homes worldwide. Handmade Diptyque candles are famous for their range of exquisite scents & using natural fragrances. NOVE was by founded by interior designer Kirsty Saxon. After many trips to Portugal, Kirsty fell in love with the country and its history of skilled craftsmanship. Her idea to create NOVE was born out of the idea to create designer hand crafted lighting from a sustainable and beautiful natural material - cork. Lighting, besides being functional, can add style to your abode and create a cozy vibe.

Ecosophy, founded by Kate Anderson, produces textiles for the home that are thoughtfully designed and sustainably made. They are driven by the belief that responsible textile production can create not only beautiful homes, but also a more beautiful world.
